Collection of Personal Data
In pursuit of our mandated and legitimate tasks as an institution of higher learning, CDSL collects pertinent data or information from our data subjects.
Use of Personal Data
Personal data gathered from data subjects are collected primarily for educational and employment purposes. It will be used by CDSL for its regular academic and operational purposes such as but not limited to eligibility for admission and employment, documentation and proof of identification.
Non – Disclosure of Personal Data
CDSL will not disclose the personal data or information collected from data subjects unless there is an explicit consent (written or validated electronic consent) or a valid court order.
Security of Data
The personal information gathered will be stored in a secure location, which only authorized personnel can access. CDSL follows strict security measures to make sure that the data collected are kept confidential and protected.
Data Privacy Rights
Processing of any data query may be addressed to the office of the Data Privacy Officer or any member of the Data Privacy Committee.
Period for which the Information will be Stored
Under the provisions of MORPHE, CDSL is required to permanently keep the personal data or information collected from the students. Any obsolete information based on data retention and internal privacy of CDSL shall be disposed in a legal and secure manner.

CDSL's History

Colegio De San Lorenzo (also called CDSL or colloquially, SanLo) is a Catholic educational institution in the Philippines located in Congressional Avenue, Barangay Bahay Toro, Quezon City and in Macabebe, Pampanga. Students of Colegio De San Lorenzo are known as Ruizians. The school’s founders, Cirilo Lloyd V. Balgan and Annette F. Balgan, envisioned an educational institution that will respond to the Church’s call for the laity’s greater participation and involvement in the educational apostolate. In 1988, they established CDSL as an educational institution dedicated to the total formation of the Catholic Filipino youth who, like San Lorenzo Ruiz de Manila,
