Bachelor of Science in Criminology

Program Description

The program Bachelor of Science in Criminology aspires to develop a new breed of upholders of the law and guardians of the public. The program produces graduates with careers in crime prevention, law enforcement, scientific crime detection, correctional administration, public safety, and other allied fields.

The program encourages well-rounded development of its students, which will enhance not only their knowledge of crime prevention and law enforcement, but their integrity and moral conduct as well. Through strategically developed courses, students will learn about the Philippine Justice System, crime causation, and intensive research and inquiry on the nature, causes, treatment, or punishment of criminal behavior.

Successful graduates of the course may pursue careers in criminology research, scientific crime detection and investigation, crime prevention, correctional administration, public safety, security management, criminalistics, and the academe.
